Mini DSLR??!

Hello hello,

people who are reading my blog post now,

I am really interested to know where to get one of this -

The 'mini DSLR'

small right?

how are we suppose to take photo?

No wonder it is so small right? O.o"!!

because this is not a mini DSLR, it is a pen-drive,

or some people called it thumb-drive!

Okay, enough with the drama.. =.=

now back to serious topic.. where to get it?

I've been finding it around, went to a few shops,

but still couldn't find one..

(don't tell me PC FAIR got!! LOL)

What is Earth Hour?

If you are following my blog and reading it from time to time,

I am sure you noticed that I blogged about it for the past two years!

So now, what is Earth Hour again?

Here, Earth Hour started in Sydney, Australia in 2007..

In 2009, over 4000 cities in 88 countries switched off lights

to show their support for the planet..

After a year, On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the

biggest Earth Hour ever, a record of 128 countries and territories

participated in the global display of climate action..

The Earth Hour today has become a global sustainability movement..

Earth Hour 2011 will take place on Saturday, 26 March

at 8.30pm (local time)..

This year I hope we'll go beyond the hour, after the lights go back on again,

think of what you can do to make a difference, together our actions add up,

hope to reduce global warming and stop climate change..

Save the world together, shall we?

you can join the Penangites to countdown and join the activities there..

Time: 7.30pm - 9.30pm

come over to Sunway Pyramid and join the activities held there..

Anyway, I will be doing dance performance for the Earth Hour event,

5.30pm at Oasis Boulevard, Sunway Pyramid..

'A Walk To Remember'...

From the best-selling novel by Nicholas Sparks,

Warner Bros. Pictures present,

Starring Shane West and Mandy Moore,

"A Walk To Remember"..

This movie was released in 2002..

but until today, people are still looking for it everywhere,

this showed how nice this movie was..

I've watched it twice for the past week,

and I really love this movie a lot..

After a long awaiting for this movie, finally I get to watch it!

This move is about the story of two North Carolina teens,

Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) and Landon Carter (Shane West),

who are thrown together after Landon gets into trouble

and he is made to do community service as punishment,

which include an acting as the leading role in the school play..

Jamie is a girl with big dreams and aims that

has nothing in common with Landon;

and when Landon decides to be more serious in what he is doing,

he asks Jamie for help and he spends most of his time with her..

As time passes by, when the two of them starts a relationship,

this two teenagers then put their relationship into test,

slowly Jamie and Landon realize the true meaning of love and fate...

Bathe Time for Biki...

So, Chinese New Year has called to an end..

Wondering why 'Biki'? it chose the name itself..

don't ask me how, but yeah..

Biki actually hates showering, it will hides underneath the couch

once 'she' knows that we are going to bathe her..

Ain't its cute? :P lol.

Does it looks like a lion or something??

because one of my relatives that came to visit,

keep on calling her 'Lion Queen'.. O.o"

Look at it, begging me to bring her out for a stroll after bathed..

but too bad the fur is still wet,

if not you will get to see her fluffy fluffy fur..

Chap Goh Meh Celebration 2011..

the "Chap Goh Meh Celebration - Food Fair and Cultural Show"

Today on the 17th February 2011,

at Penang Esplanade from 4.00pm - 11.00pm tonight..

this event organize by, Penang State Government and Astro..

'Chap Goh Meh' (the 15th Night of Chinese New Year) celebration,

this occasion signifies the first full moon of the new year..

and on this very day, as a part of the tradition,

all the single ladies and women will gather together to throw

or toss tangerines and oranges into the sea,

in hope that their 'Mr. Right' would pick it up,

while wishing for a good husband too..

They have several cultural performances to lighten up the celebration,

and that including a Baba and Nyonya performance..

'Chap Goh Meh' also known as Chinese Valentine's Day,

Is a time for those who are singles to come together,

not only for this celebration, and also to search for their soul mates..

Usually the 15th day of Chinese New Year is celebrated splendidly with joy,

to mark as the end of this festive season.. :)

There will be fireworks at 10.45pm, fireworks sponsor by

Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce,

so don't miss it!!!

The Green Hornet..

'The Green Hornet', what you say?

I would say, if you are a fan, a supporter and admirer

of Jay Chou (Kato) or Seth Rogen (Britt Reid), then you probably

would love to watch this movie a lot because it's funny..

But if you are not, then maybe you were there in the cinema

just to watch Cameron Diaz (Lenore Case) in action

or maybe Christoph Waltz (Chudnofsky/Bloodnofsky)..

Alright now, I watched this movie yesterday, with a special guest, Chian.. :)

I wouldn't comment much on this movie for what I have stated above..

this movie wasn't that bad actually, although I received a lot

of comments and critics, it is still funny, hilarious and amazing!

Especially the weapons and the cars in this movie..

one of them,

the 'Black Beauty'..

This movie whether worth watching or not, It's all up to you..

Its a bit lame and some people thought there's no point for watching it,

but I think you still can give it a try,

because you might laugh your ass off on a moody day..

proof of purchase..lol!

Batu Ferringhi Festival Parade..

Hello hello there.. Happy Chinese New Year!!

Here I am, back to blog!! =D

First official post for the year 2011..

I've abandoned my blog for a few months already..

I should get started again after so long..

If you are following my blog all the while,

I am sure you can notice some changes on my blog, right?

I've changed the background and the songs that I am listening..

and also the widgets on the right row of my blog-posts..

Now, I should start sharing with an event on The Pearl of the Orient,

the event named 'Batu Ferringhi Festival Parade'

held on today 11th of February 2011,

later from 7.30pm-10.00pm (1930 to 2200)

and the venue is at Batu Ferringhi, Penang

(from Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa to Parkroyal Hotel Batu Ferringhi)..

This parade is organized by:

Persatuan Penjaja Bazaar Batu Ferringhi, Penang..

The participating hotels are:

Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa, Golden Sands Resort, Lone Pine Hotel,

Holiday Inn Resort, Parkroyal Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel,

and Bayview Beach Resort

What you can find there?

The parade includes the following teams:

18 Lion Dance teams, 1 Dragon Dance team, 3 Chingay Flag teams,

a 100-persons Band, decorated Trishaws, a 'Kompang' music team,

a 'Tampatham' music team, 5 auspicious Lucky Mascot, also the

Representatives from Associations and Representatives from all Hotels..

If you don't wish to miss a thing,

get ready, be prepared now for the festival parade~

I would suggest you to go early,

'The Other Guys' Movie Preview Screening..

I'm sure many of you know a former wrestler named 'The Rock' right?

He stopped wrestling since 2001 and started to be an actor..

He is best known as 'The Scorpion King' for his first movie in 2002..

The Rock occasionally credited as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson..

He also stars in many movies, such as 'Walking Tall', 'The Rundown', 'Race to Witch Mountain', 'Tooth Fairy', a few more to go on the list

and now, 'The Other Guys'!

I've to admit that he's a professional wrestler and some people still hoping that he could go back to ring one day but I think he's too comfortable in his acting career now and added a lot of credits to it..People also start to accept him as an actor and support him from that aspect..

Not to say that I'm a fans of him or what, it just that I have watched him wrestling till now he's the leading role in the movies, I'm sure we all can see him putting in a lot of determination and hard work to reach this level of achievement that he has today..*applauses*

I'm joining this blogging contest to win a pair of tickets to watch

the preview screening on the 12th of October,

this coming Tuesday at Midvalley Megamall..

This will be my second time to meet up with bloggers for movie screening..

My first movie with them is the latest dancing movie, 'Step Up 3'!

This time, again, my friend Nicholas Chan who is a blogger too,

we both are getting ourselves a pair of tickets to watch this premiere..

The reason why I want to watch this movie, nevertheless is because of 'The Rock', also because I love watching this kind of action movie sometimes, it will just makes you laugh real hard..!

and...If I'm the police/cop in the movie, I would really strive with passion towards my job and play my role as a part of the community, protecting the nation and the safety of the citizens, also not forget to be a 'hardcore' cop, that live hard play hard!

*I might be exaggerated it a little, but that's what it takes and criteria that should have to be a 'top cop' right?? Hahaa..*

Alright, hope you all are waiting to watch this movie as well..
