Church Drama '2nd Chance'

Hello people, this is my church, Penang First Assembly of God(PFAOG)'s drama.. we are doing it every year in conjuction with christmas.. Each year we have different story line.. this year with the title '2nd chance'..

My dream...

It has been two days already I continuously dreamt about you,

I am not too surprise when you appeared,

Finals is just around the corner, last exam before the semester break,

you had appeared twice in my dream to cut down my stress or throw in another 'burden'?

I try not to think about it, I should get back to my study so that I could face my exam properly,

12.12.08...

Yesterday, on the 12.12.08, we watched "The Day The Earth Stood Still".. I went to watch with my two brothers and my friend, all together 4 of us went to watch it yesterday because we want to know what is the feeling when the earth stood still, but I guess, it's not fun at all if you really want to experience the feeling.. After the movie, I think it's important that we really have to take care, protect and save the world we are living in! LOL!
By the way, to me, it's a great movie, acceptable but yet, still not very logic for the hugh giant iron robot to appear in the show.. I like the spheres which is totally a new way to keep the animal's species alive, which is something like Noah's Ark.. Haha! I better don't tell too much so that you guys will have the chance to watch it by yourself and enjoy the whole movie..
Here are the two main characters, Keanu Reeves as Klaatu and Jennifer Connelly as Helen..This is what going to happen if we really don't take good care of the earth, the planet, which is our world today.. LOL!

After the movie, it's almost 12.30am, we received messages saying that the moon will be the brightest and roundest on 13.12.08, 12.37am, so we went to the rooftop of gurney plaza, which is the new parking's lot for the new wing just to see the moon.. it's kinda cool I meant in a way of going there at night, looking up the sky, the moon seems so near but no matter where you are in malaysia, we are looking at the same moon! Somehow, we enjoyed watching at the rooftop because there is nobody there except the 4 of us..

Alright here, which is the moon? Haha! Just to see whether you guys can figure out or not..See properly then you know..
Finally, this is the moon that I took around 12.41am.. nice right? I should have bring my cam along but I didn't know bout it until I reached GP.. If not I can take a closer view of the moon.. Thought when I reach home around 1.15am then still in time to capture a few shots using my cam, but who know, it's going to rain so what I got to see is just the CLOUDY sky..Damn!

Now only I know, why people say that good and nice thing must take the opportunity to grab it before you lose it..

Friday and Saturday I will be at KL!!!

Thinking of going to KL....... I am so excited! LOL
Not really... haha! First thing maybe is because I might have the chance to meet up with my friends which I get to know them at The Ultimate Prom Nite.. and another thing is I am going to Damansara, Sri Pentas again!
This time I am not going for 8TV The Ultimate Prom Nite or anything concern about competition, it's our college's trip to have a visit there this time! This is our chance to see how the crews and workers there work at a TV or Radio Station! It's gonna be cool I guess.. Since most of us are Broadcasting's student! haha.. XD
Alright, back to the topic.. we are going to have our free time there as well.. it's not just a study's trip for sure.. it would be bored if we doesn't go around since we are there, at least it's time for us to leave our hectic life of study and homeworks and assignments aside first.. we much probably will enjoy and spend our time at 1-U after the visit cos it's not far from the 8TV station!
Okay, I should stop here, didn't know what to write now, will tell you guys more when i get back! Perhaps I am getting too excited and I couldn't sleep yet after I double checked all my stuffs that I am going to bring later, cos it's 5am in the morning now! I am not kidding, I am serious here.. but somehow, I think I should just close my eyes up and rest for awhile.. so that I wouldn't look too tired later when we gonna meet up at campus around 7am..

Are You A Heavy Smoker?

Come, take a look of this poster! (It might be a little bit small, sorry...) This poster was found somewhere near the canteen in my campus.. Here is a picture of a smoker's body.. Are you aware of it? Do you ever take a closer look at the picture properly? It's so scary wei... Let's see, Smoking is BAD for Health.. Smoking is a BAD habit.. Smoking is BAD for you as well as the people all around you especially your loves one, your family!
As we can see, Smoking = BAD, but why people still smoking? It's okay if you are a smoker.. It's okay if you want to 'burn' your money to exchange something which is not good for your health.. It's okay if u think that smoking is cool, or perhaps smoking could help you release all your tension and stress..
But guys, do you ever think for your yourself? your family? If you can't quit smoking even for a week now, what will you be in the future? what's your life likely in your future? THINK!
I am not stressing on anyone or any smoker out there.. I just want to let you guys know, someone with strong determination to quit smoking, they can do it! I have friends which can quit for someone they love or because of their family and future's life, they Quit! Since they can, why aren't you?
Keep on telling yourself, "I can quit smoking!", "I want to live a healthy life in future!", perhaps you can't quit smoking in a year or two years time, but I strongly believe, with determination and a willing heart to quit, something call "miracle" and "wonder" will appear! Trust Me!
So why not give yourself a chance to stop smoking if you can and since we are young, we still have a bright future...
I do believe that who ever you are now, whether you are a smoker or non-smoker, or maybe a social smoker, you can change the way of living, the way of how you want yourself to be either now or in future! It's all up to you!

So, let me end here with some words, If you are proud to be a smoker, I can't stop you from smoking.. like I had said just now, it's all up to you! So, for those who is a heavy smoker, I just hope that you guys could at least cut down ONE box PER day to ONE box A week, it would be better!

P/s: I am not encouraging anyone to smoke ya... Don't ever try! even if you try, perhaps just once, but PLEASE REMEMBER, do not addicted to smoking, it may simply ruins your life! Think wisely, you can make a difference!

First time being a Radio's DJ...

Last Friday, I was the DJ for our own radio production at the campus On Air Studio.. Actually this is one my subject, basic radio production's assignment.. I am glad to be a DJ that day and frankly I felt excited about it.. The whole thing for only an hour, although it's kinda short but it's very fun and interesting!
First, tell you guys something about it.. This Semester we divided into 7 groups all together.. Every group have to do this 3 times, take turn to do it.. An hour everytime, 2 days in a week, Tuesday and Friday.. This program named TF25, but we gave our own radio production named "Young.FM-The Youngest Station for the Younger You"...
Perhaps you will ask why we named it Young.FM, what I can tell u here is we are doing our programme based on teenager nowadays.. As a teenager, we would like to listen to something which is suitable and the topics must be up to date.. Moreover, our target audience is the youngster so we want it to be the youngest station for the younger people..
Thro-out the programme, we have to create our own topic, PSA, as well as the commercial's advertisement..
The whole thing is just about how we are going to carry on with our own excitement and how we indicate it to the audiences..

Show you guys some pics that I took before the real day, should take photo too on the actual day but too excited till forget about it..LOL I am not alone for sure.. I have partners and teammates.. My partner for the day is Joewy, she can be a good DJ too, her voice is recognizable for those who know her.. My voice? sometime you do, sometime you don't I suppose.. Haha! the other members in our team is Xia Xin, Orson and Jason.. Without them we are not a team.. I am doing fine with our team so far, some arguements are not avoidable but we still managed to cope up with it..

On the other hand, the lecturer is happy with what we had done, because we did the lecturer's requirements earlier for 2 times already before the lecturer told all of us to do so.. Very glad to hear that! He also said that our group did much more better than the first time..
Then, the lecturer's comment about me is not bad, well done! He said, "I am suitable to be a newscaster, I did well as a DJ, acted natural and talked like a DJ....!" I am very grateful to hear that but I am not the best because there are people which can do better than me.. At least I know I am not wasting my time writing the scripts.. It's important to have a script actually..
Again, Thanks to my partner and teammates, Without them I wouldn't do that well too.. tell you guys something about them..
Joewy, She pushed us very hard! Without here I think we will be slacking around.. She determines me alot..
Jason, He is our editor for PSA and Commercial's advertisement, he did very good with the sound's effects..
Xia Xin, She is the controller for the sound's system, when to play songs, when to switch on and off the microphones and so forth. Jason is also one of the controller..
Last but not least,
Orson, He always said that he is not "useful" in the team, But I would like to tell him, He is "useful"! He might not have enough confidence to be a DJ, but he's a great helper.. He did cut down some of our burdened..

Why Pressure is Everywhere?

Pressure comes from many different aspects.. Some people couldn't take the pressure so they will fed up or stressed up.. why pressure appear?
homework, assignment - small matter perhaps, since we are students, what can we do other than that?
friend - peer pressure? hard to communicate sometime?
family - what's ur role in ur family? ur character.. eldest brother/sister? youngest brother/sister?
No matter what.. just try to cope up with it.. face it..! think positvely but not negatively..

9 Shophouses on fire in Jalan Gurdwara...

On 28th of September 2008, Sunday, I was at the fire scene witness the process of putting out the fire.. Many people was there to see but not to help.. I might be one of them but I dare to say that I did give out my helping hand on the spot other than just standing there and watch what's happening.. My brother and another friend was there with me after the meeting when we are actually on our way to Prangin Mall for window shopping..
Im sorry for not putting this up on blog after the incident because my pc were not in a good condition before this.. So I hope that my photos is enough to tell what had happened..
Before this, tell u guys some information which I got..

The row of two-storey shophouses comprises a nasi kandar shop, two tailor shops, a card printing shop, a bicycle shop, an electronic gadgets shop, two communication appliances shops and a spectacles shop...
Top Floors of nine shophouses in Jalan Gurdwara, Georgetown was damaged, seven fire-engines, 61 firemen not including the 36 voluntary firefighters were there to put out the fire.. The fire started around 2.45pm.. Fire spread so fast in a shortwhile were assume caused by the wind condition and the roof of the shophouses which is combine together.. The Firefighters took around two hours to put out the fire due to the weather condition and some other reasons such as the two large business signboards that hampered efforts by firemen to put out the fire.. The firemen brought the fire under control within 15 minutes...
Everything were ended around 4.50pm..
Further investigation will be done to know that what had actually caused the fire.. The fire was believed to started at the back part of a tailor shop and communication appliances and CD shop. Fortunately, nobody was reported dead or injured due to the fire..
What brought us to the scene - People! Between this few shophouses are where the fire began...
Here is another incident happened on the spot.. This particular RAT is actually very pity because we believed that this rat has been burned by the fire.. It in time to ran out near the side of the road before the fire getting worse (this is just our conjecture) ... But very unfortunately, an uncle accidentally stepped on the rat when he is trying to cross from another side of the road to this side, which is nearer to the rat..
Guess what happened next...?!
The rat bitten the uncle's toe and it starts bleeding! Fresh blood were coming out from the wound very quickly as u really can't imagine how it happens.. It's all in a sudden..! But luckily, there are still kind hearted people which is willing to help the uncle stopped the blood and cleant the wound in time before it might be infected by bacteria or any other diseases...One of the victims which may be a doctor or pharmacist helped to clean the wound.. Other than that she used tobacco from cigarette to put on the wound so that it could killed some germs..(photo above)
Penang's Chief Minister YAB Lim Guan Eng was there with his assistants to have a look at 3.35pm and gave out some comments.. He said he saw smoke coming out from the shophouses from his office at 28th floor in Komtar and he was surprised to see that the fire had spread so fast..
State Local Government, Traffic Management and Environment Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow said they were worried that the extra large signborad not only effect the beauty of heritage building, the firemen encountered problem too while breaking the windows to put out the fire..State Health, Welfare and Caring Society Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh who was also at the scene too.. He said that shopping malls or shophouses should always ensure that there is nothing blocking the fire exits.. (This photo below might look like they are arguing but they are not..) The Committee chairman is trying to get more informations from one of the shop owners..
This is special! When we are about to leave the scene, we found these "super bikes"..! It's cool wey.. just look at the first bike to the third bike.. are u amaze by them? perhaps u r not but it's great anyway.. u know, they are useful at sometimes when the fire-engines doesn't need to be there.. LOL!
See! even the firefighter is amaze by it! XD

Billy, my friend since I was in form4 when im the vice president for my school's leo club and he is the past president for his school's leo club.. I still remember when we first met in CDK while attending the meeting for a joint function, I think it's our joint anniversary's meeting if Im not wrong.. Then, we both joined the same omega leo club again after graduated.. we are now part of the members in Leo Club of Penang (City).. So I had knew him for almost 4years d.. wat I can tell here, He's a nice guy, a good bf and so on......

His name is Chun Keat if Im not mistaken how to spell his name.. We didnt meet for 2years after he graduated.. He's my senior in Chung Ling High School.. Glad to meet him at the airport.. Why? Why? Why?

Im very upset.. suddenly I'm feeling so down without any reason.. I can't feel myself.. I have the feeling as if I'm just a little tiny creature .. too small to get people attention.. no one care for me.. no one could understand me, sometimes.. What I can do and what I couldn't do, I know.. Somehow I have my own way of dealing with it.. Maybe I'm not the best, I'm not outstanding as well but at least I knew where and what is my ability and how far I can go..!
What am I doing now is what I'm doing for u.. It's okay if u didn't know or notice about it.. It's doesn't matter.. I don't mind but at least pay attention on me sometimes.. I'm not that bad! I'm not that suck! If others can do.. why not me? Of course I can do too.. Just give me time.. Time can prove everything..!
I thought of letting u to do it yourself.. I can help.. But if I know, I'll do for u earlier.. I just want u to learn and try out more.. no matter what, keep it up, if u think u can, u can.. just do it!

Wong Mew Choo Lost to Lu Lan!

WHAT A TRAGEDY!

Malaysia sole woman badminton player's Wong Mew Choo did very well in the second match versus China player's Lu Lan.. I know she could had do better in the first match but at least in the second match she really proved to us that she can makes it through the tougher point of the match! and she did it! But very unfortunately She lost to China with the result of 27-29 for the second match.. Wong Mew Choo have a total of 9th game points in the second game..
She could actually won the match on the few game points by beating the China's player.. Sadly, she couldn't get over her nervousity and failed to make use of the beautiful chances to win the match.. On the 9th game point she can win by a smack but she hit the net.. At last, she couldn't escape from the strategy played by China..

Although she didn't get herself through the quater-final and proceed into the semi-final.. But I RESPECT her for the spirit that she shows to all of us, didn't give herself up after all u can see very clearly from her face that she's exhauted! That's what a standard player should show to others.. She played very very good in the second match, as we can see she makes Lu Lan felt miserable and hard to cross the line as well through the game! Wong Miew Choo, keep it up! cheer for Lee Chong Wei, hope that he could get himself into the Final!

p/s: I' not being nationalism but it's my right here to support my own country Malaysia. I would like to emphasize that as a part of chinese, I would like to say that China had done a GREAT job too beating Mew Choo in the first round by 21-7.. therefore, they both did very very hard to play the game for today.. no matter win or lose.. they are GOOD!

Where my church new location will be...

Here, let me use photos to tell where's my church new location will be.. Now, my church main location is at Macalister Road; then another one is at Hunza, Greenlane..
After our new church building is build, here will be our main sanctuary in future and maybe we will not have to devide our church's service into 1st or 2nd service anymore..All the church's members can gather together in the same place for prayer and worshiping unto the Lord..Praise The Lord!
Hmm...For those who don't know, I'm attending PFAOG.. This is the GRAND ceromony of our church weeks ago.. The Earth Breaking's Ceremony.. YEAH!!! See.. how grand was it.. hehe.. we set up food's stalls to do fund raising at the same time and a stage in the middle to entertaint the crowd.. performances were performed by our youth's..
Try to snap a photo to show the stage.. (Oops! the reporter saw me snaping photos..) haha.. Look at the sky, luckily it doesn't rain at the end.. Thank God!

This is the place where I found it very interesting.. It just opposite where we held our function that day.. I don't know why is the FOUR tall and long pillars were build for.. but it makes the place look 'special'...
The lovely beach.. So wonderful that the beach is just so near to the church.. From far u still can have the chance to see the Penang's Bridge.. nice right?
