Earth Hour throughout the world...

I couldn't get all the photos for the countries which took part in Earth Hour'09, but yea, here are some snapshots to show you, how people from other countries are doing it...Sydney, the first country started Earth Hour in 2007. This is the Sydney skyline this year in 2009, Sydney's famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Bund on the banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai. Hong Kong's financial/commercial buildings at central district.
Taipei 101 Building in Taiwan.
Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai. Historic landmark - Gateway of India in Mumbai.
Young people in the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok hold candles marking the second worldwide Earth Hour.Royal Palace in Oslo, Norway.Singapore financial district.Main roundabout at the main business district in Jakarta. An Indonesian family sits near candles as lights are turned off during a candlelight vigil marking Earth Hour at the main business district in Jakarta.

St. Stephens Tower of the Houses of Parliament in central London.
Ancient Giza Pyramids in Cairo, Egypt.Burj al Arab hotel of Dubai.Rome's ancient Colosseum.
Acropolis floodlights in Athens.
A child holds candle in support of Earth Hour in Jakarta.
Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Finally, Malaysia.
The KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers.

Well, Malaysia did their part in swtching off the lights during Earth Hour 2009, including the Walk of Hope at Cap square, KL. Actually, I try to get some pics during Earth Hour in Penang and Las Vegas (due to the beautiful lights all around the city, wanted to see how it looks like when switch off the lights), but couldn't get one.
Earth Hour in Penang not so successful, not a failure as well. At least my house and a few houses nearby switched off the lights; my friend which is working at Island Plaza told me that Chief Minister YB Lim Guan Eng and others were celebrating Earth Hour at Island Plaza and switched off lights as well, many people were there to countdown and put on candles; another friend which went out for dinner at a restaurant near Gurney told me that, the restaurant not only switched off lights, they even switched off the electricity! What a joke, but yea, saving energy at the same time. LOL!

But still, some people think that this is stupid and wouldn't want to follow. Please, think of the world that we are living in, can't you all feel the heat everyday is getting hotter and hotter? the weather keeps on changing as well, help to save the world wey!
We are the young generation, if we are not doing it to help slow down climate change, who else? So, keep it up people, try not to switch on the air-cond if the weather is not hot, switch off lights at night, and do switch off computer too when you are not using it.

Is this what we called 'teamwork'?

What is this? It doesn't look like teamwork to me, this is more to torturing from what I can see. Anyway, what add to my curiosity is what the heck is he drinking and caused him ...... GAME OVER? Oh well, base on your imagination then. haha...

I am not showing this for any purposes, the main reason is to let you know the importance of teamwork.
Thinking back of it, hmm...... perhaps not!

Good night...

It's almost 3 am in the morning.
I shall get my ass on the bed now...

I'll switch off the computer before I sleep,
cos I used to put standby mode,
and switching it on days and nights,
but from now on I am going to switch it off;
I'll switch off lights when I am sleeping,
cos we don't need the lights while dreaming right?
I am voting for earth now! LOL!
Somehow, I am saving electricity! Haha...

So, let's unite people, let's get together,
Make sure u do your part to save the world too!

☆Alright, more updates coming up soon...☆

Till then,
Good night!

Do sign up yourself to be counted as part of it, log on to this website to show your support.

This is one thing, the wristband that glow in dark, which is given by one of my colleague during my internship at 8tv. Well, I like the wristband. It's special, hardly get one which can glow in dark. Somehow, it can shows and tells people that I am supporting Earth Hour and I am part of it! hehe..

*pics are captured in the dark using my hp only.

Let's stick together, Let's switch off our light for an hour, help to conserve energy and slow down climate change, shall we?

P/S: 8TV is supporting Earth Hour and it will switch off itself for that ONE hour during prime time tonight.

If you could find...

Sometime in our life,
we couldn't get the one we really love.

Do you know why?

One of the reasons is because we will meet a person,
someone which is willing to care for you at all time without any condition and he/she knows how to appreciate the moment being with you.

That is why many people gave up in searching
for their loves one,
because they finally realize that being together with the person which love and care for you more than anyone,
is much more happier and worth than anything.

If you could find someone which love you
and care for you the most,
do not let the person go away,
as he/she may be the one that make you happy and
give you many surprises in everyday life.

Expenses again!

I hate to spend money on my car, to repair it especially! For people who may know who I am, you should have seen my car. Although it's the same when comes to money, I know that I am spending money to modify it, but at least better than I spend money to repair it, cos I am happy and satisfied with what I modified.
Here is the story,
This morning, I was driving slowly towards my aunt's house to drop her something with my mommy after dropping my brother at school. Then, when I was about to reach her house, this happened! An Iswara or Saga, an old model red in color was coming towards me from the opposite direction. Then, there was an old uncle on my left. When I was about to reach the corner, this old man on my left suddenly walked a little bit over to my car, which means I have to avoid him if not I might knocked him down.
Meanwhile, this red car came very near to me, and luckily I am in time to glance off my car a little over to the left after I avoided the old man. I was like, WTF?! Can't the driver see me driving towards him or her, I don't even have the time to take a glimpse of the driver. I heard a loud *BANG* towards my car's door mirror, but luckily only the side mirror crashed into a few pieces.

Just look at my side mirror, not even a scar on it nor a damage! Don't you think it's funny? How come? Even if both of our side mirrors hit together, at least there's some paint stain on it, but not at all!
I bet you can't even imagine how dangerous was the situation like this morning. Damn! hate paying the money by myself after all it seems like not my fault! who shall I blame then? Owh well, expenses again!

Lee Chong Wei won the men's single title against Lin Dan during Swiss Open!

VS
*pic are taken from the net for display purpose only.

Yesterday, The world badminton's No.1 from Malaysia, Lee Chong Wei won the Men's Single Title during Swiss Open against Lin Dan, 21-16, 21-16! He fought tremendously yesterday if compare to the day he played during Olympic Games.

I am sure Lin Dan must be curious and wondering why his shots yesterday is not so effective against the top seed. Lee Chong Wei this time did prove to himself and all the people around the world that he as the world No.1 is not just a title.

Other than that, our Malaysian men's doubles,
Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong fought gallantly against China's men's doubles, Fu Haifeng and Cai Yun during the semi-finals and won thier way to the final. After they had defeated thier strongest rival, this is their chance and gateway to won themselves the men's doubles title again, 21-14, 21-18 against Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen from Denmark.

It has been awhile they did not fight to the final and win the first place. Finally, they did it too together with Chong Wei! What a great win! Actually, I had watched both games during final and I watched semi-finals as well. Here, I came out with a conclusion. I think we as Malaysian, living in and stepping on the ground of Malaysia, we should support our National team and our own country.

I am not being patriotic but I just want to let you guys know, those who participating need our support and prayers to win. Try to imagine if a two players, both are great players but one with lot of supporters, another just a few. Who do you think will win the game at the end? Well, no offence ya... It's up to you all, Malaysian!

p/s: For those who missed out this match between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan, you can actually press here to review it.

Liverpool won 4-1 against ManU at Old Trafford!

WooHoo! Liverpool finally gone through it as they won 4-1 against ManU at Old Trafford yesterday! What a great match..!

At first, due to Pepe Reina's fault, ManU won a penalty shot, and the first goal of the match was made by Christiano Ronaldo on the 23'. But, not long after that, the equalizer Fernando Torres scored the first goal lead for Liverpool on the 28'! His technic of handling the ball gave him an oppotunity to get the ball earlier than Nemanja Vidic and man to man vs the goalkeeper of ManU, Edwin Van Der Sar, and he made it!

Next, Steven
Gerrard picked himself up from the ground to dispatch a penalty on the 44' after he was fouled by Patrice Evra to give his side the lead going into half-time, before Vidic saw red for a professional foul on Liverpool's skipper after the break.

After Vidic left the match on 76' with a disappointment, Fa
bio Aurelio made a dramatic free kick and scored the third goal for Liverpool on the 77'.

United's woes were exacerbated in the final minute when Liverpool substitute Andrea Dossena lobbed a sublimely taken fourth over Van Der Sar on the 90'.
Dossena lobbed Van Der Sar to complete a memorable win, whose significance remains unknown.

Gerrard kissed the camera after his second goal for Liverpool.

Here are some extra information:
Man of the match: Fernando Torres was always causing problems for Manchester United's defence.

Effort of the match: Michael Carrick failed to shine for Manchester United but his rasping effort from long-range nearly caused Jose Reina a problem.

Save of the match: Jose Reina did well to gather the ball after 75 minutes as Carlos Tevez looked to strike.

Goal of the game: Andrea Dossena's late chip was brilliant as he sealed a fantastic win for Liverpool.

Talking Point: Can Liverpool now go on and win the English Premier League as they are just 4 points behind of Manchester United?

My answer? Yea, sure! Definitely they have the chance!
