Yesterday, The world badminton's No.1 from Malaysia, Lee Chong Wei won the Men's Single Title during Swiss Open against Lin Dan, 21-16, 21-16! He fought tremendously yesterday if compare to the day he played during Olympic Games.
I am sure Lin Dan must be curious and wondering why his shots yesterday is not so effective against the top seed. Lee Chong Wei this time did prove to himself and all the people around the world that he as the world No.1 is not just a title.
Other than that, our Malaysian men's doubles, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong fought gallantly against China's men's doubles, Fu Haifeng and Cai Yun during the semi-finals and won thier way to the final. After they had defeated thier strongest rival, this is their chance and gateway to won themselves the men's doubles title again, 21-14, 21-18 against Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen from Denmark.
It has been awhile they did not fight to the final and win the first place. Finally, they did it too together with Chong Wei! What a great win! Actually, I had watched both games during final and I watched semi-finals as well. Here, I came out with a conclusion. I think we as Malaysian, living in and stepping on the ground of Malaysia, we should support our National team and our own country.
I am not being patriotic but I just want to let you guys know, those who participating need our support and prayers to win. Try to imagine if a two players, both are great players but one with lot of supporters, another just a few. Who do you think will win the game at the end? Well, no offence ya... It's up to you all, Malaysian!
