What is Earth Hour?

If you are following my blog and reading it from time to time,

I am sure you noticed that I blogged about it for the past two years!

So now, what is Earth Hour again?

Here, Earth Hour started in Sydney, Australia in 2007..

In 2009, over 4000 cities in 88 countries switched off lights

to show their support for the planet..

After a year, On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the

biggest Earth Hour ever, a record of 128 countries and territories

participated in the global display of climate action..

The Earth Hour today has become a global sustainability movement..

Earth Hour 2011 will take place on Saturday, 26 March

at 8.30pm (local time)..

This year I hope we'll go beyond the hour, after the lights go back on again,

think of what you can do to make a difference, together our actions add up,

hope to reduce global warming and stop climate change..

Save the world together, shall we?

you can join the Penangites to countdown and join the activities there..

If you are in Kuala Lumpur, bring your friends and family together,

come over to Sunway Pyramid and join the activities held there..

Time: 8.30pm onwards

Date: 26th March 2011

Venue: Main Entrance, Sunway Pyramid. (Orange Entrance)

Anyway, I will be doing dance performance for the Earth Hour event,

5.30pm at Oasis Boulevard, Sunway Pyramid..
