Words from Jo and Words for Jo......

On Wednesday, while we planned to send off Jocelyn to the airport, we were suppose to be at the airport before 8pm because her flight at 8.40pm. But around 6.35pm, I received a sms from her, *beep beep*.. appeared her name on my hphone's screen, #thinking maybe she is going to ask what time will we be there..?# Sadly, I got this from her......

" Last min change of flight plans. I am taking the 7.30pm flight to KL. Sorry guys. Really really wanted to see you guys for the final time but now have to wait till end of this year. I am already touched to know that you would show up. Know that I'll always love you! Take care.. T.T "

Later on, everyone got a forwarded msg from Lion Ong, I was in Zhang Hao's car together with my brother, Jameson; we are outside of Edwin's house, our plan was after Lion Christina's appreciation dinner then we will go to airport to send her off! Well, Lion Ong sent the same message to everyone, telling us the bad news. Hmm......
(this pic were taken on Monday, 2 days before she goes overseas...)

Here's JO! Best wishes from all of us, hoping you will get use to the lifestyle there and you could cope up with whatever things that you might face there as well. All the best to you and have fun, enjoy the time there with your new friends, but most important of all, not to forget anyone of us in Penang......

We will miss you, till end of the year then! =)

No. 9......

For the past 2 weeks, there is an international basketball tournament in our college indoor stadium. Well, I didn't go to any of the basketball's match. But I had been told and heard many people keep on saying that:
"Malaysia's no.9 player is handsome!"
"Taiwan's no.9 player is good looking!"
"both the no.9 are 'entao'!"
and so forth...

what do you think?

Malaysia's No. 9 player

or

Taiwan's No. 9 Player

Grabbed those photos from Shu Pei's blog .
Indeed, both are good-looking players.
=)

Extra info:
Malaysia won the tournament. Hooooorayy!

The death of two Celebrities...

26th of June, 2009, in a single day the entertainment world lost two of it’s best known icons. Farrah Fawcett, 62, and Michael Jackson, 50, were here yesterday but gone today. Whether it’s a well known celebrity or closer to home, death has a way of forcing us to evaluate our own lives. It is easy to coast from day to day without thinking about death. As unpleasant as it is to ponder on such thoughts, the cold reality is that death is an appointment none of us can avoid.

Michael Jackson is a King of Pop, a great dancer with good potential and he is also the man of fashions. Micheal Jackson died due to full cardiac arrest on Thursday at age 50 as he was about to embark on a series of London performances. The night before his death he had been in rehearsals for his 50-date London comeback tour. His dead had shocked the world. As worldwide fans mourn him and enjoy listening to his music once more (apparently sales for his albums are up 721-percent since yesterday!), questions remain surrounding his death.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office started conducting its autopsy today to determine the cause of the King of Pop’s sudden death. As reported by the New York Times, the LAPD is honing in on Michael Jackson's private doctor, a cardiologist with a practice in Las Vegas. Last night the police department impounded the doctor’s car to search for medicine such as prescription drugs or perhaps other evidence. Speculators have already mentioned they suspect drugs were an attributing factor to the death but until the facts came in, it’s just that: speculation.

As the call came into 911 by identifying a fifty year-old man (not specifically saying it was Michael), the caller also indicated he was not responding to CPR or anything. The doctor was the only person who was witnessing this. The police want to interview the doctor and search the car for medications or evidence that may help the coroner.

Although the autopsy itself will take a few hours, toxology results have been known to take six to eight weeks. Initial reports of his death indicate cardiac arrest whereby Michael was transferred to UCLA Medical Center. At 2:26 pm the King of Pop was pronounced dead.

Bottom line: Michael Jackson was no ordinary man. But the experts agree that his sad end is an opportunity for people who think they are safe from a cardiac disaster to reconsider, and take health precautions that could save their lives.

Farrah Fawcett, an actress for the original version of Charlie's Angels, died at age 62 due to cancer on the same day with Michael Jackson.Farrah Fawcett, the 1970s jiggle icon known equally for "Charlie's Angels", her feathered hair, that skimpy red swimsuit, and her stormy love life, died yesterday morning after a long struggle with anal cancer.
Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, and though it went into remission, it reappeared last year. As of a few months ago, Fawcett still had hope that she would beat cancer. Her doctor said in April that Fawcett "remains in good spirits with her usual sense of humor. She's been in great shape her whole life and has an incredible resolve and an incredible resilience."
Not long after, O'Neal confirmed that Fawcett had stopped treatment
, was bed-ridden and has lost most of her famed locks. At the end, she couldn't make it through life.

May both of them Rest in Peace.....

Flood in Han Chiang College...

On Wednesday, something 'extraordinary' happened in Han Chiang College. Well, actually it's nothing special at all because it happened in HCC for quite a few times before this. It will flood most of the time if the rain non-stop for the whole day.
But this time, why I said 'extraordinary' is because the rain just started roughly for an hour only, suddenly, all the students who sat near the drain and those who sat at the lower part of the canteen, ran to the upper part of the canteen (where i was sitting), cos the water level of the drain is getting higher and started to fill up the ground with water.
WTH?! I was like, kinda shocked at the moment, but without hesitation, I quickly took out my cam and I did manage to take a few shots.

Here, show you the scenes.

this pic seems nothing special indeed, but I sort of like it cos you can see the water jump up in the middle of the air (take a look of it longer if you couldn't see).

While waiting for the rain to stop, other than 'enjoying' the time taking photos of the flood, here are some pictures which taken just to kill bored.
Mars. He is cute in a way in this pic.I guess most of you didn't see dandan a.k.a egg when she's in lazy and tired mode right? lol!OrsonYuniceJoann

. . . end . . .

Talking about Leo Forum 2009...

Talking about Leo Forum, every year it will be held at different places organized by different Forum Organizing Committees(FOC) as well. This year, District 308 Leo Forum 2009 has been held in Penang.
Well, Leo Forum always is a very big event of the year. Each year, the FOC tried really hard to organized it but still it will not be 100% perfect as this event are participated by over 1000 people if combine both B1's and B2's Leos. Eventually as you can see, this is not an easy job to be done.
Basically, after 3 days and 2 nights of the Forum, I am sure all leos will start comment on the accommodation, foods and everything throughout the Forum.
So, as a sub-committee, here I shall present you, fellow leos and lions, i would like to share this blog in a way which I found it interesting, worthwhile reading and things you should know other than what you have heard about Leo Forum this year.
After reading it, perhaps this girl(which is the onwer of this blog) might annoyed you with her words, but to me, we have to accept both good and bad comments in order to improve and learn from the mistakes so that we could do better next time. Maybe some of you have read this before, but for those who not yet read it, i would suggest you to prepare a cup of cold drink just to cool you down if you are part of the FOC. Haha! just a small joke.
Perhaps you can take those words as compliments, it might helps, i hope.

to be continued......

Restaurant City on Facebook...

Nowadays, many people including me and my friends are playing Restaurant City on Facebook. Many of us became an addicts towards this application and most of us keep on playing it just to reach a higher level and to get more points. What's fun about this application is you can trade ingredients with other people in order to get the ingredients that you want to complete your dishes to level 10. Other than that, you can decorate your restaurant according to what you wish, for example how you want your restaurant to look like and you have to complete your restaurant with some appliances so that more customers will come to your restaurant.

This is one of my friend, Yong Cheng's restaurant.
Isn't it cool? haha.. Kinda special and different from others. I could imagine how fresh is the air in his resturant. Even the toilet bowls is in between of plants as well, haha!
This is my brother Jameson's restaurant. He likes CLOT very much as you can see, the tiles on the floor showed the word 'CLOT'. for CLOT's lover, I don't think I have to explain anymore. For those who don't know, CLOT is one of the famous brands for street wears. I love CLOT too.

And now here, this is my restaurant on RC. Here a few pics to show you how my restaurant changed from time to time until today. I am still planning to change some of the decorations in a few days time.
The last pic is when I am in level 27 and I reached 50.0 evaluation points... that is the highest percentage of how much your customers like your restaurant after eating your foods and after they used the facilities in your restaurant. *a good's sign consider as 1 point.
Here a pic to show that I got a cheese from a friend's restaurant when I went for a visit and when I really needed a cheese! Anyway, once your first visit to the restaurant of a new player or your friend's restaurant on RC, you will get a FREE ingredient.
Recently, you can get rating form people who visit your restaurant at random streets and even you can rate people's restaurant as well. So, those who are interested, do creat an account on Facebook and join me in Restaurant City!

Busy...

Sorry guys for not updating my blog lately.. I know some of you who visit my blog frequently start mumbling d.. I'll try to blog more when i could find some free times which I don't know when yet, hopefully soon..
I am really busy with my assignments lately.. I don't really have the time to attend and do other stuffs last week. Other than performing dance at my former school, Chung Ling High School's Mini Concert last friday, I went out for shooting the whole day during the week which is my sem breaks but we have no time to rest as this is one of our important assignment.. we are doing a short drama, done with editing, put in subtitles and ending credits, the whole process is not easy and you better always be prepared for not enough sleep if you choose to be in broadcasting's life. it's a good experience anyway, you will learn more throughout the process, you will get to know each other more among your teammates as well. Although it is tough but it is fun..

This week, I am going to be real busy too, I've assignments and I am the emcee for this coming saturday Leo Forum. Leo Forum is a big event every year for leos. I am a Leo Club's member from Leo CLub of Penang (City) for some of you who might not know yet.. So, I have to come out with scipt and everything by this week before saturday.. Actually on the same day 6th of June, I can get the VIP's ticket to attend 8TV's Ultimate Power Group's grand finale.. Taiwan's group singers Bang Bang Tang will be there as special guest. WTF? I have decision to make at first cos I don't know which to choose and where to go. FInally, I had made my decision.. and you guys know already.. Hmm......

Alright, I have to make a move now, be prepared and going to TARC later for my friend royblin's autograph session.. I'll be back soon..
