'Walk For Sight 2010' Charity Walk
(Another Lions SightFirst Project)
is jointly organized by Lions Club of Georgetown Perdana,
Region 1 Leo Clubs and St. Nicholas' Home Penang..
in partnership with Majlis Sukan Negeri Pulau Pinang..

This is a significant and meaningful event
to let you experience the feeling of a blind..
you will be provided with blindfold on that day itself
upon registration and you need a partner with you
in order to lead and guide you all the way
because you will be blindfolded and walk like a 'blind'..

All committees have to reach the venue
which is at Padang Polo around 6 in the morning..
I'm one of the photographers for this project..
so let the pictures tell from the time I reached till it ended...See.. still can see the moon...The lorry came with lucky draw prizes, goodies bags and souvenirs..Kok - I pledge?This 2 kids really cute!! His sister is asking him to turn his head over because she knows that we want to take photos of them..The brand new rides for the escort traffic policemen..Here come the Penang State Governor..Lion dance performance by the disabled..Cake cutting ceremony..The orphans from St. Nicholas' Home.. The band from St. Xavier High School..On your mark.. Get set..GO!!!Aunty, you should cover your eyes, not your mouth..Luckily the last one didn't cover her eyes.. at first I thought she does.. LOL!Look at the little children.. so cute!!!"Come, Follow me.. Daddy leads you all.."Was wondering how is she going to lead her friend
if she's looking down and covered her eyes up with cap?
No wonder Si Sheng laughing at the back. haha! This is cool right?
The policemen stopped the car for us because of this event..
Here'a another one.. Go go go fellow Leos!!!Look at Wan Pei and Pei Cing.. So happy..Leo's spirit!! Roar!!Boonyan, don't bring them to the wrong direction..Wait..I spotted a dog! It was there to join the walk too..Spotted foreigners too!I thought I saw him in a movie before? Urhmm...Helpful partner..Lovely couple!Time for Lucky Draw's session!So who is the lucky winners?Last but not least.. not to forget
a group photo of Region 1 Leos with our RCC Ong Lai Peng..
As usual, the photographer will not appear in the photo..
but yay, at the end I get to appear in one of them
but that group photo is not with me.. lol!

Through this project.. I learn to know that some tasks
we need one another help in order to finish it..
like for example, when we were blindfolded,
we need to trust our partner to lead and support
us until the end of the point..
hence, we can practice and learn it and apply to our daily life.
we should help each other to get to a point of success
in real-time challenges that we may face everyday..

Other than that, I see the spirit of '1 Malaysia' too..
there are more than hundreds participants..
Chinese, Indian, Malay and other races
joined and participated in this charity walk..
this is a good sign tho..
anyway, if you would like to experience it yourself..

Found a man playing piano in the Mall!

How wonderful it is if you could have the chance
to use the display piano in the mall
and started to play some sweet and nice melodies..
Trust me, even the mall's guard also do nothing
but only stand at the side and watched him playing..

Impressing! His skills of playing the piano
not only attracted the adults to come over.......

but also the kid! haha..
(Okay, just kidding..)

Anyway, I like the songs that he played..
Excellent!! I bet he must be a music teacher
because the way he plays with the music is different
and it's very beautiful!
I'm not sure is the piano still there
because I went there last month..

I took this while walking to the exit..wanted to give it a try but I was alone that day

so I gave up eventually..
I'm sure most of you start thinking by now and
want to know which mall is it right?
guess guess..=D

Can we meet 'Silverman' this year?

Anyone know who is this 'Silverman'?

Even if you don't know him in person,
but I guess most of you
at least get to meet him once or twice right?
I tell you this man is cool..
He will sit there for hours like a stone..
He won't move until you drop him some coins
then he'll start to show you some motions..

I 'met' him last year during PC Fair..
Will this year PC Fair get to see him again?
anyway, some people told me he's a Caucasian..
some said that he's a Chinese..
but who really cares who is he huh?
as long as he can lighten up your day a little
with his funny acts that could make you laugh..
I'm sure many of you would like
to see him around..right?

Koay Teow Soup or Koay Teow Dry?

Weeks ago I am not feeling well..
my mommy bought me 'koay teow soup'..
I didn't wake up early because I want to rest more
So she asked that fellow to separate
the soup and the mee..

but when I woke up and
wanted to make the soup warm..
I found out that the soup not even enough

for me to cover the mee..You can see from the image..

(I used to eat 'koay teow+mee' most of the time
but my mommy bought me 'meehoon+mee')
Anyway, I want something hot with soup!
but there was no soup for me to enjoy tho..
How to eat huh?! so dry..
I know now they got sell the dry type wan
but it just not the right time.. I want soup!!!
Hmm..somehow at the end
I still finished up the whole thing
because I don't want to waste food..
I ate till the last drop of it, no soup left..
maybe I'm hungry? Hehe..
